Images we didn't use
These are the images for the poster that we didn't end up using. We didn't use picture number one because George isn't looking into the camera and we felt he should be looking out into the audience so the audience will connect with him through the eye level photograph. We wanted to show more of what they were wearing for the mise en scene of the photo and to create the idea of a city girl and country boy.
We didn't chose picture number two because again we can't see clearly what they are wearing and Alex's long coat covers up her clothes. We also didn't want to give too much away and as George is holding Alex's hand it suggests to the audience they are in love.
